The Pixi Skintreats Launch

Finally, Pixi by Petra brings in the full 17-product Skintreats line to the Philippines! I've always been a fan of the brand -- from its fresh mint green bottles down to the skin-friendly ingredients. If you've ever been a fan of the cult-fave Pixi Glow Tonic (which is almost always sold out, btw), then you'll also fall in love with these clean, treat, and glow products. If you haven't tried Pixi then you're sorely missing out, my friend.

The skintimate launch

Last week's intimate launch was a welcome escape from the heat and traffic of Manila, and we were all very happy to be pampered during the unveiling. Here's a quick peek at the new Pixi products, full line exclusively available at and select stockists.

H20 Skindrink Pure Hydration Gel (Php 1,180) - a lightweight water-based moisturizer infused with antioxidant green tea, stimulating rosemary, and glycerin.

Beauty Sleep Cream (Php 1,280) - a soothing and nourishing night treatment with shea butter, soothing chamomile, and bergamot to even skin tone.

Glowtion Day Dew (Php 1,390) - a radiance-boosting moisturizer with illuminating ingredients to blur lines and imperfections.

Glow Peel Pads (Php 1,390) - advanced exfoliating pads infused with 20% glycolic acid that works to polish imperfections, reduce the appearance of pores and skin discoloration.

Glow Tonic (Php 1,690/250ml) - an anti-aging and exfoliating toner with 5% glycolic acid, fructose, and ginseng.

On my Instagram (@kirasworld) I raved about this teeny weeny Glow Tonic bottle! This much-raved exfoliating toner spiked with 5% glycolic acid does whisk away oils, impurities, evens out skin tone, and lessens breakouts. I do love it immensely and if you're looking at trying out only one product from the Skintreats line, I'd highly recommend this.

Hydrating Milky Serum (Php 1,280) - a healing serum with calming aloe vera, nourishing vitamin C & E, and moisturizing jojoba oil. It plumps skin, increases elasticity, and smooths skin texture.

Hydrating Milky Mist (Php 975) - a lightweight moisturizing mist that provides and invisible layer of skin soothers. Contains anti-inflammatory black oat extract, B-vitamin extract, and a moisturizing humectant.

Rose Oil Blend (Php 1,280) - an extra luxe facial oil infused with natural antioxidants, essential nutrients and vitamins that help replenish and protect skin.

24K Eye Elixir (Php 1,180) - a liquid eye elixir that targets undereye puffiness and fine lines, contains plumping peptides, gold for circulation, and raspberry to tone skin. Comes with a cooling rollerball applicator to immediately soothe eye fatigue.

Nourishing Sleep Mask (Php 1,180) - an intensive healing overnight mask that deeply hydrates and heals skin while you sleep. Hyaluronic acid plumps skin, macadamia oil conditions and softens, rose geranium oil tones and balances.

I only covered 10 products on this blog but you can scoot over to the Glamourbox website to see the complete collection

The graceful CEO of Glamourbox, Lia Ramos, gives us a quick intro on Pixi which they exclusively carry. Pixi by Petra Strand is brand primarily focused on simplifying beauty, focusing on glowing skin and her "makeup to wakeup" mantra. Her Skintreats line was created with the busy woman in mind -- all are fuss-free, easy to use, glow-enhancing (she does like to use the word glow a lot), and contain only skin-loving and anti-aging ingredients.

Currently, Pixi boasts of several counters in the metro: SM Makati Department Store, SM Mall of Asia Department Store, Glamourbox Landmark Trinoma, Glamourbox Landmark Makati.

What I took home

The Pixi team happily gave everyone full-sized samples and boy, I couldn't be more excited! I hope to be able to review them on the blog. As these are skin care products it will take a while to see the effects, so give me a couple of months to test them all out.

Have you tried anything from the Pixi Skintreats line? Which are your faves?
