Brighten up your days naturally with Burt's Bees Daisy White

There is an unmistakable trend in Asian countries and that is to be as fair as can be. I don't want to use the word "whiten", because you can't really be stark white. Rather, I prefer to use "brighten" which brings to mind a clear, luminous, translucent complexion without compromising the skin tone you are born with.

At the previous Burt's Bees launch, we were introduced to their newest line called Daisy White which aims to brighten our complexion naturally. Each product from the line is infused with Daisy Flower extract which has been scientifically known to inhibit tyrosinase activity resulting to a brighter skin tone.

Apart from Daisy Flower extract, this unique line also contains:

  • Summer Snowflake - helps smoothen skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
  • Tonka Bean Bioferment - helps even out skin tone and increases skin's luminosity
  • Pearl Powder - known as an anti-inflammatory, it improves the overall appearance of the skin
  • Indian Gooseberry - helps promote natural skin tone, and reduces the appearance of hyper-pigmentation
  • Alpine Plant Complex - helps brighten skin tone
  • Multi-Fruit Complex - increases the rate of cell renewal to improve dullness, helps improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

The Daisy White is comprised of 5 key products:

Daisy White Facial Cleanser - Php 795/170g
A 99% natural cream cleanser that gently exfoliates skin while removing deep-seated dirt and makeup.

Daisy White Facial Toner - Php 795/170g
Clinically proven to help improve the appearance of surface dullness, this 99% natural toner removes lingering traces of dirt, oil, and makeup

Daisy White Moisturizing Cream - Php 1,650/10g
A 99% natural lightweight face cream that effectively moisturizes and visibly evens skin tone.

Daisy White Eye Cream - Php 1,650/10g
Combat dark circles and puffy eyes with this 99% natural non-sticky formulation that moisturizes the eye area.

Daisy White Serum - Php 1,650/30g
With its cool watery texture, this serum is one of my favorite products from the line. It moisturizes and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, plus I don't wake up with oily skin in the morning. The pump packaging is also very handy and hygienic to use. Like all the other products, this is 99% natural as well.

Not part of the range but are bestsellers in their own right:

*Facial Cleansing Towelettes
A handy pack of makeup remover wipes that is ideal for sensitive skin. Cleanse and tone in one easy step, perfect for ladies who are always on-the-go.

*Lip Gloss
A nourishing gloss which contains natural oils, also gives a hint of color to lips.

  2. I'm still testing them out :) But the serum is my fave, it's like water! And yes, a bit pricey but will last for months :D

  3. Ang mahal for 15 grams. Hehehe. Meron ba siyang cooling effect sa boo-boo?Thanks

  4. It is rather expensive...No tingly or cooling sensation since it does not contain mint or menthol. Great as an overall skin soother -- I get rashes on my legs during summer from wearing jeans so this is really handy.

  5. Ah ok. Does it have the texture of Vicks Vaporub, or petroleum jelly? Curious kasi ako. THanks

  6. These things are giant naman kaya they're a bit more expensive. Have not tried any yet but I hope maganda siya! I am in love with the serum, too <3

  7. Truly giant, loving the cleanser too. I am into cleansers now and I have about 4 in rotation (eep!).

  8. More like petroleum jelly as it's the first ingredient on the list. The diff is it's spiked with monolaurin, an anti-bac ingredient derived from VCO :)

  9. Oh I see. Thanks!
