Price: Php 420
Available at Glamourbox.ph
Pixi Pink, Ripe Raspberry, Coral Crush, Natural Rose, Honey Nectar, Comfort Clear
Infused with Shea Butter and Vitamin E to nourish and soften lips, they glide effortlessly and offer a thin veil of color, unlike the Tinted Brilliance Balms that have a more opaque finish. Additionally, the scent is different, too -- the Shea Butter Lip Balms have a sweeter, almost vanilla-like scent while the Tinted Brilliance Balms are minty.

5 swipes each: Pixi Pink, Ripe Raspberry, Coral Crush, Natural Rose, Honey Nectar
They do leave a stain once the balmy finish has worn off. You can purchase these lovely colors and other wonderful Pixi products over at Glamourbox.ph. Hurry as they come in short supply!

  2. Hi Janine! I personally still prefer the Pixi Tinted Brilliance Balms because I like the opaque finish and the minty scent, but it all really depends on what you're looking for. The Shea Butter Lip Balms give a more translucent color :)

  3. They remind me a lot of those Nivea tubes! Honey Nectar looks amazing. I don't care much about Pixi but it's slooowly looking to be a promising brand :)

  4. okay.. thanks for the input.. because I'm planning to try the Pixi Tinted Brilliance Balms after reading your review.. though i don't know what shade to get.

My lips are somewhat dark, i don't know why i don't even smoke..

Btw, I have a voucher for Browhaus from BDJ - P200 discount usable til Dec 2014 since. I would like to give it to you since you go there for your brows but don't know how. And know I will not be using it. It would unwise to send it through the courier.. you know what I mean. :)

  5. Hi Janine! Do you use lip balm with sunscreen on your lips? If your lips are pigmented I suggest Rosy Red, the other lighter colors like Baby Bare might not show up on your lips.

Thank you for thinking of me! But why not use the coupon yourself? Where do you live btw? Email me please :)

  6. I love these things!! I am so happy to avail of GB's offer (free lip balm for 2k purchase of PIXI products), and I am so pleased with the color I received. Dare I say, I am starting to like this more than the Brilliance Balms? :D

  7. I love the Boo Boo Balm! I'm happy to get the tub instead of the tube, I'll be using this frequently as I'm quite the clutz, hahah!

  8. Awww...glad you liked them, Pat! GB has a new offer now for Earth Month, they're giving away a Kosmea skin care duo for every P2,500. And I LOVE Kosmea, I am tempted to go shopping myself :)

  9. I feel like the tube isn't sulit, so I always get the tub :) I love that I can use it on scratches and minor wounds as an antiseptic and scar remover/reducer. My dogs scratch and bite me all the time (in play) and so the Boo-Boo Balm is really helpful :)

  10. Yes. I am using chapstick spearmint w/ spf 4. I am going to ditch this after since it makes my lips dry if I missed to reapply.

I remembered having my brows fixed that was 2006 I guess, I just want them to make it look clean and it turned out a disaster! The girl from HBC made me look like a cat! I immediately had to have my "hati sa buhok" switch from left to the right side just to cover my thin brows. I have a phobia now hehe. Sent you an email. :)

  11. I got the Boo-Boo Balm and the Kiele's Cologne. I agree, they're nice.

And I also love Mustela products, esp. from the Stelaprotect and Stelatopia lines. They have this Stelatopia No-Rinse Cleansing Water that I got because I couldn't get my hands on the micellar cleansing waters I wanted to try. It's good.

Then they have the Stelaprotect Rich Face Cream and Body Milk (which I got cause I couldn't get my hands on Topicrem)--both of which are comfortingly nice. All products I mentioned are fragrance-free but they still smell like babies, but not powdery.

I've also tried some Pigeon products, they're alright. Their shampoo/shower gel is too powdery-scented for my taste.

I'm currently eyeing Sebamed Baby products and the the remaining Grandma Minnie's products I haven't tried but I still love Mustela, I just want to try everything! I don't even have a baby, oh lawd, I need to control myself, lol.

Thanks for the *baby products* write up! Gotta find that Vandol stuff.

  12. Ooh thanks for your recos, need to do research on Avibon and Topicrem. Love your selections, so glad you're a fellow VMV and Mustela fan :) I did have a samples of the Stelatopia No -Rinse Cleansing Water but I didn't like it as much as Physiobebe :)

  14. Your description of Avon's baby moisturizing lotion reminds me of Nivea Baby Smoothy Cream, which I love to bits! It's the only moisturizer I have consumed completely, and that's saying something considering it comes in a rather large tub. I use it for both face and body. I wish Avon was more easily available, it's kind of a hassle to have to go through an Avon lady. :/
