Magic Hair Removal Wand Dupe

I purchased my Magic Hair Removal Wand in 2009 and I still use it to this day. It still is one of my favorite beauty-slash-hair removal products. The original Multiply shop closed down but don't fret as Watsons now carries their own version of this wonder product.

The only difference is that the one sold in Watsons is thinner and cheaper for only Php 89.00. It is sealed upon purchase so I haven't had the chance to try it since I bought this for Alex.

So there you go! For all my readers who've been bugging me about my Magic Hair Removal Wand, here's your chance to get it for cheap! Just troop to any Watsons branch and grab a few :)

    1. Hi Jenny! It might sting a bit if the facial hair is coarse, I only use it on my upper lip. If ever, let me know how your brother reacts to it.

    1. Hi Vanessa! Hmm..I only use this on my upper lip and chin. If your underarm hair is not so coarse, I think you can! Let me know ha, I'm curious tuloy :)

  6. Hi Kira,

I bought this immediately after reading your post. When I first used it, I was like "Whoa... amazing!" However, the next day, I noticed that the effect was like that of shaving, naputol lang yung hairs sa upper lip ko and my shadowy mark. Kaya pala di sya masakit tulad ng threading. So I am going back to threading na... sayang it didn't work for me. I think mas effective yung sayo kasi it's thicker?

    1. Hi Apol,

Thanks for letting me know! You might need to get the hang of it first. The first few weeks of using the MHRW, I noticed the same thing. I think I wasn't pulling the hair from the roots at first, I complained pa to the seller :P

Anyway as I got used to it, I was able to grab the hairs completely. Remember to keep your upper lip taut while rolling the wand and remove all traces of makeup first (I use this after patting my face dry after washing). In any case, I plan to purchase one for myself and test it, and perhaps write a comparative review on it soon.

Thanks so much for taking the time to comment :)

    2. Hhhmmm... ok, your reply convinced me to try it once again. I enjoyed using it too much, I guess, that I didn't notice if I was really pulling the hair from the roots. Tee hee! Will let you know how it goes... :)

And yes, a comparative review from you would be great... will wait for it! Yay!
