My Gastronomic Experience at the Aria Cucina Italiana Press Launch

Everyone's favorite Italian restaurant in Boracay has finally opened its doors in Manila! Thank you to ARC PR for inviting us to this special event.

I love how casual yet fancy the place feels, and how it makes us miss Boracay so much! Check out our 9-course desgustation courtesy of Chef Marino (please note that these are all sampler sizes).

I don't claim to be a food expert nor a food writer, but I sure enjoyed tasting all of Aria Cucina Italiana's popular dishes. And I kept thinking to myself, "Wow, I'd sure love to do this on a regular basis," haha.

Gran Misto Aria P435 - a vegetarian mix of tomatoes and mozzarella cheese, grilled bell pepper salad, eggplant mash and deep fried zucchini, served with focaccia bread

Rotolino Marchigiano P390 - wood fire oven baked pizza roll stuffed with either tomato sauce, mushroom, eggplant, and mozzarella or mushroom, mozzarella, and ham

Insalata Cocomero, Ruccola e Pinoli P480 - organic arugula with fresh watermelon, feta cheese and pine nuts in a balsamic vinaigrette dressing

Insalata Tartufata con Parma Ham P480 - a salad of grilled eggplant, lettuce, tomatoes, parma ham, and smoked scamorza cheese tossed in a truffle dressing

Spaghetti Marinara P450 - a favorite seafood pasta of the Mediterranean coast. A choice of tomato or olive oil-based sauce

Risotto con Porcini, Mantecato al Mascarpone P620 - risotto with porcini mushrooms whipped with mascarpone and aged parmesan cheese

Pizza al Metro (Capricciosa, Hawaiina, Rucola e Pinoli) P1,300 - giant trio pizza -- choose 3 flavor combinations from any of our pizza toppings

Salmone al Pepe Verde P650 - a fresh salmon fillet served with a creamy green pepper sauce

Mousse ai due Cioccolati P190 - layers of white and dark chocolate topped with ground hazelnuts

The food was excellent and (as you might have guessed) we were all happy campers! Check out my fellow bloggers' wide grins:
